Whidbey Island Wedding Magic- Seattle Storytelling Wedding Photographer
I would post every photo from this gorgeous Whidbey Island Wedding if I could. The guests, the bridal party, and the family were so full of beautiful energy and love, not to mention the bride and groom. A wedding with a few older people, babies, dogs, and a good dance party is my kind of day. Did I mention gorgeous weather and a beautiful location? A couple willing to let me boss the day to make meaningful photos all the day long. We shot the first look downtown Whidbey Island on the beach. A perfect opportunity to grab some urban photos! The venue itself was paradise. It was a beautiful summer day in July that all of us will never forget.
Shout out to Whidbey Party Girls for all the help!
Weddings are sacred. Not because of the schedule or the details — but because of the energy that fills the air. It’s the collective breath of love, nostalgia, and new beginnings. It’s two souls saying yes to a shared life, surrounded by everyone who ever shaped them.
I love photographing small weddings because they’re full of raw, unfiltered emotion — the kind that reminds you what it means to be human. The quiet, trembling hands as vows are read. The laughter that breaks through tears. The way a mother looks at her grown child. The stolen glances between partners when they think no one’s watching.
Through my lens, I see not just the event — but the heartbeat beneath it. The sacred ritual of love witnessed. The way light wraps around a couple, blessing their union in golden tones.
Every wedding is a living story — fleeting, sacred, and honest. To photograph it is to be invited into something deeply human and holy. It’s an honor every single time.
Congrats A+S for finding that forever kind of love. And thank you for choosing me.
