YES! I do do senior portrait sessions -and I LOVE them. They are quickly becoming a huge part of my business.
Favorite spots in Seattle for nature sessions -are Discovery Park- and Lincoln Park in West Seattle. Lincoln Park includes a beautiful forest -and Lowman Beach Park, so you can get forest and beach in your gallery. I do also travel. I love Artists Point(a big trek) Rattlesnake Lake, and I love Whidbey Island.
Do you need to know how to pose? NO. I AM BOSSY. I will help you move and make you feel comfortable. I am a goofball and easy to be around, that is my superpower.

Artists Point (above) Three and a half hours from Seattle- maybe an overnight adventure. Best in July- September. Artist Point Sessions are 1200.00
Can the family get photos too? YES! You can either pop in for one or two, or do a family shoot add on for an extra $200.

90 minute session -three outfits, walk around any park or location in the Seattle area. Yes-I will travel and fees apply. $1100
70-100 edited images in a gallery. You get sneak peeks the day after we shoot(if I can) and then my turn around time is 4-6 weeks. That turn around can go a little longer in the fall, so be sure to tell me about your deadline and I can make sure to get you extra options before I’m done.

Is our teen not so into the photos, but you really need to document this time? I offer a MINI SENIOR SESSION - this takes place in WEST SEATTLE AT LINCOLN PARK - 30 minutes, 30 images, $550
HalF SenIOr, And a little bit FamiLy SessION
Perfect for the senior who doesn’t want a whole session, and the family needs updated photos. Think of it as a family session with a focus on our senior. 2 hours $1300
Deposit to hold your date $200 can be paid via venmo. Rest of payment due day of session.
Does your senior want to get a little witchy or conceptual? What’s that? I have another website DAWNDRAPHOTO -that blog has examples of a shoot like this. These are $1300 and really fun!
What if it rains? If the weather is looking sketchy, we text day of and make the call to reschedule or not. I know this is a pain, we love you PNW.
If it’s really bad out, we simply find another date.
CITY VIBES
My favorite place to shoot in the city is Pioneer Square! But there are tons of options with this.
CITY VIBE SHORT SESSION
Got a city slicker who doesn’t want to shoot for almost two hours? I have a 45 minute Pioneer Square half session for $750. You get 40-50 images. We meet in Occidental Park and walk around. This had been popular with the boys!
WHAT TO WEAR?
For mini sessions in Lincoln Park, bring two outfits or just one if you want to keep it simple. for full 90 minute sessions, you can bring up to 4 but most bring 3. Don’t forget accessories to change it up. Hats, scarves, music instruments, cute jackets ect can be a fun way to change it up. Play with different colors and textures. If we are shooting in nature, earth tones look the best. BUT the most important thing is to be YOU. Steer clear of bright or florescent colors and logos. If your in the forest, stay away from forest green. HERE is a blog if you want to talk colors in nature. But it’s ok to break the rules and be yourself!

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? I know I repeat myself.
Ok I am talking dresses first.
I love dresses that flow out in nature. Lighter, earthy colors are best. Think ivory, brown, beige. Rust orange or burnt orange stands out in the trees. Antique pink looks great with green trees, light blue like the sky. Forest green will get lost in the trees but a lighter sage green works great. Feel free to send me photos for my opinion. If your not into dresses do not wear one!
