Sedona boudoir photography session On ThE MAGICAL red rocks

This boudoir session was pure magic!

Words cannot describe what the rocks feel like on your bare feet. Bare skin. It’s grounding plus add a splash of magic.

We did a little hike to this location in the morning. Gabrielle brought three looks, four including her bare necessities:)

She did her own make up, but I do have a great suggestion for make up in Sedona.

We bought this little outfit at OH BABE in the Village of Oak Creek. And I love ABBY ELYSE MAKE UP if you want to get make up done. She does tons of weddings and is really great.

What to Wear To your Boudoir Shoot

Choose pieces that make you feel something.

Remember the colors that will vibe with the color of this landscape (i.e. bright red is not great)

  • Lace, silk, or soft fabrics

  • Neutral or earthy tones (especially beautiful in Sedona light) White, brown, black, teal,

  • Oversized sweaters or button-down shirts f or another look

  • Bodysuits, robes, or meaningful personal pieces like a kimono

And remember — less is more. Bare skin is always timeless.

A BOUDOIR SHOOT IS CELEBRATING HOW FAR YOU HAVE COME

Somewhere along the way, many women disconnect from their own reflection — caught up in roles, responsibilities, expectations.

Boudoir gives you a space to come back, to slow down. Give yourself space and self care. To feel your body again.
To remember that you are still you — not just everything you do for everyone else.

TIPS ON TAKE CARE OF YOUR BODY LEADING UP TO THE PHOTOSHOOT

  • Stay hydrated

  • Moisturize your skin

  • Get good rest the night before

  • Avoid anything that might irritate your skin (new products, harsh treatments)

  • Don’t wear any bras or panties on the way that are tight and would leave marks on your skin.

  • Be mindful of tan lines on the weeks leading up to the session

  • BE READY TO HAVE FUN!

A boudoir session is more than a photoshoot.

It’s a moment where you choose yourself.
Where you step out of your comfort zone and into your confidence.
Where you see yourself the way the world already does — powerful, beautiful, and enough.

And that shift?
That’s something you carry with you long after the photos are taken.

PRICE

My boudoir sessions are ala cart - meaning I do not provide make up and hair. I do have recommendations though! My beautiful client here bought one outfit and borrowed the rest. She did her own hair and make-up and she is perfect. Although I strongly recommend getting it done.

Boudoir Sessions are $1300.00 and include a two hour shoot and 70-100 edited images. My turn around time is long, 4-6 weeks, but you will see sneak peeks within a day or two of our session. Thank you for being here!
