Senior Photos at Discovery Park -All you need to know about your Senior Photoshoot with Dawndra

Hello!

Did you know that I am not just a family, maternity, and couple’s photographer? I DO SENIOR PORTRAITS! I love playing in a sunny field with a lovely human. We had so much fun! I love shooting at Discovery Park at sunset. The flowers, the fields, the open sky, and the water view. It’s a unique place for sure in Seattle.

What a Major Life Transition! Senior year marks the transition from high school to adulthood. I remember it well! A photoshoot captures the essence of this important phase and celebrates a significant achievement in a young person’s life. I wish my senior photos looked like this or more of my authentic self at the time.

Senior Sessions are $950 and include a 90 minute shoot, and 80-100 full resolution edited images. The day after the session, you will get 15-20 sneak peaks. My turn around time for the final gallery is 6 weeks. I aim for sooner:)

From your gallery you can order professional prints, books, and all kinds of fun print gifts.

LOCATION IDEAS!

Forgive the fact that these are not all senior photos!

Rattlesnake Lake (below) get in the water, climb on the stumps, pretty mountain background. It’s best on weekday evenings. I shoot the 2 hours before the sun sets.

Lincoln Park, West Seattle. Next two photos:)

We start in the forest, and then it’s a quick one minute drive down to the beach where we end at sunset.

Deception Pass State Park, next few pics. Add 100 travel fee,

Cliffs, beach, forest.

Artists Point - 3.5 hour drive and the most epic location. 360 views of two mountains, no big hike. Artist Point is 1200. Best on weekday evenings but not impossible on weekends. It is AMAZING in the fall! Scroll my blog to see! (link)

Want to know what colors look great in nature? Ivory, Light browns, rust, mustard, light blue. Those colors pop and look great in the trees. The beach is fair game for anything! Steer clear of dark green in the dark green trees. As we plan, I can totally give outfit advice, we send pics. Bring a few outfits and we play.

Final thoughts!

A 200 deposit is taken to hold the date, the remaining balance is due the day we shoot.

I am a total dork and easy to be around. I guide you into natural poses during the entire shoot.
