Sedona Women Empowerment Photoshoot- Sedona Arizona Photographer

It was such an honor to work with Erika. When I read her profile saying “Mindset is your only limit” I knew I would like her.

Her smile is so infectious!

Embracing the Witch Within ✨🌿by Erika Bohorquez

Reclaiming the witchy part within has been an evolving journey, one of probably generations in the making, and yet there is still more undoing in the path ahead

Deep wounds of betrayal, abandonment, and shame echo throughout past lives and generational lineage reinforcing a lack of trust, continued struggles, fears, and feelings of walking alone on this path have haunted me without even comprehending it on a conscious level.

For some of us, it hasn’t always felt safe to reclaim this part of ourselves. Society’s labels of “bad” and “evil” can cast shadows, especially in a world where it’s the belief that magic doesn’t pulse through every fiber of existence and we don’t possess a deep connection with Mother Earth or the elements, or better yet magic it’s something for someone with “special” gifts to have rather than something all of us inherently are born with. (continued)

Women are the creators of life and magic, the nurturers, the connectors with Mother Earth and all living things on this planet. We walk in harmony with the elements and follow the strong inner guidance and the wisdom that resides within each of us passed down from generation to generation.

If there is something I’ve learned this far, its true power lies in embracing both the light and the shadows within ourselves. To reclaim my witch I had to heal the parts of me that felt unsafe and learn to trust the masculine to lead, protect, provide, and most importantly to believe in my ability to tap into my duality within at the blink of an eye. It’s safe to be both!

Life it’s not about clinging to the old ways; it’s about forging a new path, one that balances our interconnectedness with a newfound sense of trust in ourselves and those who are here to show us that we can feel safe once again.

We often forget that we can embody both the divine feminine and masculine and that there’s beauty in the duality of existence. trust in your journey. Embrace the unique path that’s been woven just for you, knowing that there’s no wrong answer—only the perfect design of your soul’s evolution.
