Long Distance Lovers- Seattle Couple’s Photographer
HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR INTIMATE COUPLE’S SHOOT WITH DAWNDRA
Focus on Connection, Not Perfection
The most powerful images don’t come from perfect poses — they come from real moments.
You don’t need to “act romantic” or force anything. The way you naturally laugh together, the way you hold each other, the quiet in-between moments… that’s what makes the session feel intimate and real. And I guide you the entire time!
Show me everything and nothing at the same time.

There is nothing like photographing true love. It gives me hope and it’s almost infectious. These two are in a long distance relationship. And I mean LONG. One in Washington State, and one in Florida. Their love for riding motorcycles brought them together, and no amount of distance can stop them from loving eachother. They have ridden around Florida and Washington together, and they made the trip to Sturgis this year. Adorable.
Being from Florida, J had never climbed such a mountain. He was pretty quiet as we hiked the hour up to the top. And then when you reach it, it’s just exhilarating - and maybe a little intimidating. Usually quite a bit colder than down below. It was unbelievably impressive that he stood on this rock. Yes, it is next to a crazy ass cliff, and it feels WILD to stand up there. I am proud of you brave warrior.
Some people are just naturally sexy. These two are just absolutely sexy beings, and they decided they wanted to get a nude shot at the end. Well - at the tail end of the shoot -behold it had started raining. So there they stood naked in the rain. Just absolutely wild and free. It’s not breaking any laws if theres no one there to see, right? If a tree falls in the woods and there’s nobody there to hear it…. right? The law of nature is what I follow. What could be more natural than naked?
Nobody was around, the planets aligned.
What to Wear to your couple’s shoot (Keeping It Cohesive + Comfortable)
Think complementary, not matching.
Neutral or earthy tones photograph beautifully (especially in places like Sedona)
Soft textures: linen, cotton, lace, knits
Flowy dresses, open shirts, relaxed fits
Barefoot or minimal footwear for a more natural feel
Most importantly — wear something you feel comfortable moving and being close in.
Gabrielle wore a dress from Joyfolie and one from my collection. J bought a warlock shirt on Amazon. I brought a cape and a few lanterns. They brought their birthday suits as well. My pug Ezme joined us, we had a blast.
A day that we will never ever forget.
To me this shoot feels more like a love song.
“Giving someone a piece of your soul is better than giving a piece of your heart. Because souls are eternal.” — Helen Boswell
Seattle intimate boudoir couple’s sessions are $1100, and a $200 deposit is due to book your date. The remaining balance is due the day we shoot.
We will have fun and create lasting memories! These two ordered a photo book that I designed after the shoot for them, and some prints. These sessions can take place at a studio in Seattle, in the comfort of your own home(hopefully you have good window light:) or outside in the forest. We can find a private outdoor location.
THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE!
